Phylloceras sp. Highly ornamental, polished ammonite fossils from Mahajanga, Madagascar. These are classic Albian stage (Cretaceous) fossils and are around 110 Million years old. These are ideal for study, and make the perfect gifts.
Characterised by their ornamental mouth aperture and highly decorative preservation. These are meticulously cleaned with air tools to reveal those spiny projections, and the ammonite is given a polish all over to a glass like finish. Truly stunning collector grade specimens.
