These are wood slices from ancient tree trunks found in the Mahajunga region of Madagascar and are around 210 Million years old (Jurassic). The wood has by this time turned to stone, remineralizing and so this is why there are so many colours in the pieces. They all have beautiful coloration and tree rings are still visible too and no two slices are truly alike, even from the same trunk or branch. AA quality and superior finish to the surface. These are polished to a glass like finish.
