Beautifully hand polished piece of Madagascan amber Copal. This Copal has not had a definite date put upon it yet, but it is thought to be a similar age to the Columbian Copal, so that would place it in the Pleistocene age until more accurate dating. It is thought that similar environments around the world at that time created amber copal that has formed almost identical to each other and the insects are similar too, if not the same, just like today.
