Bumblebee Jasper
Bumblebee Jasper (which is actually not a true Jasper) is a complex calcium carbonate mineral with inclusions of arsenic and manganese oxides. As with all minerals, wash your hands after contact. Relatively rare stone which comes from the vicinity of Mount Papandayan Volcano, in West Java. Discovered in the 1990's. They are polished both sides and make a great display piece. See photo for size. These slices are about 8-10mm in thickness on average.
