You get 1kg of Seabed mix of Ammonites, Brachiopods, Devil's toenails (Gryphaea UK) Crinoids, Clams, Gastropods, Bryozoans, Sizes range from 5mm (crinoid star stems) up to 60mm (corals). A good range and size. Some of the items are not in the photograph but you will get a good mix of material.
These all come from The Atlas Mountains.
Good teaching material. Can be tipped out into boxes with sand in, this fun way of teaching children about finding fossils, is also educational. And the bonus is they are so cheap, they can keep what they find. It also means that there is no fights over finds because you can mix it all up with sand and give the little ones a tea strainer sieve or baking sieve. They can shake away to reveal the fossils and put them into a little paper plate for later. A magnifying glass or microscope can be used to reveal lots more detail!
These can be washed in water before using if you want to remove the dust, but they will clean up by themselves if put into dry sand pit as the sand will act as a fine abrasive.
