Type: Bird bone
Size: Box measures 6.0cm x 4.0cm
A partial bird bone from the Eocene phosphate site of Sidi Daoui. Khouribga. Morocco. 50 Million years old. Tentatively identified as Pseudodontornis sp (formerly Odontopteryx.
Prehistoric pseudotooth birds or pelagornithids were probably rather close relatives of either pelicans and storks, or of waterfowl, and are placed in the order Odontopterygiformes to account for this uncertainty.
