A notopterid (Teleostei, Osteoglossomorpha) from the continental early Cretaceous of southern Morocco. Kem Kem Basin, around 100 Million years old
Size: Number sticker is just over 1cm for scale
Location: Kem Kem Basin (Continental Red Beds) were home to Dinosaur, Crocodile and Reptile species. These fossils come from the Sahara Desert in North Africa. They are around 100 Million years old and are classic specimens from the Cretaceous period. Kem Kem fossils nearly always have repairs.
