Ammonite fossil. Found at Sandsend, near Whitby. Age is around 178 Million years old. Found and Prepared in July 2025
It is coated with a special fossil varnish to preserve the natural lustre, and keep them free from dust and dirt, from handling. These are the classic British Jurassic Ammonites and have often nice clean centre, with that classic ammonite look.
