Otodus obliquus (Mackerel Shark and Great Grandfather to the Megalodon)

Otodus obliquus sp of Shark, an ancient extinct mackerel shark. Otodus is dated to around 54 Million years (Eocene) and normally are collected from Oued Zem, Khouribgan Phosphate mines of Morocco.
With this location and method of extraction (hammering the rock) Tips are not always perfect, but they are still well over average size teeth, some of the biggest you are likely to find. Sometimes size really does matter to a collector! You can however find exceptional specimens, and we hope to offer them here in this section.
