Rare Asteroceras marstonensis (Spath 1925) from the Lower Lias (Sinemurian), Marston Magna limestone, Obtusum Zone, Somerset. These nodules contain a rich ammonite deathbed assemblage. They are highly sought after by collectors around the world. A very limited amount was excavated from the site, hence the rarity.
