CARCHARODON CARCHARIAS - GREAT WHITE

Great selection of Carcharodon carharias sp of Shark tooth, more commonly known as the Great White! These teeth come from the Atacama Desert, Chile and are dated to around 3 Million years old, which would have been the Pliocene times. All the teeth are in excellent condition. Beautifully serated, lovely enamel and toffee coloration. No repairs to any of the teeth offered here in this section. Teeth are measured from the side of the root to the tip.

CARCHAROCLES ANGUSTIDENS sp

Nice selection of Carcharocles angustidens sp of Shark tooth, the immediate evolutionary line to the Megalodon Shark. All these teeth were found as river finds and come from South Carolina. They are dated to between 15-28 Million years old, about Miocene-Oligocene. Ruler in photo is in cm's for scale.

OTODUS OBLIQUUS sp

Here is the popular Otodus obliquus sp of Shark, an ancient extinct mackeral shark. Otodus is dated to around 50 Million years (Eocene) and normally are collected from the Khourigban Phosphate mines of Morocco. These teeth displayed here are some of the larger sizes and not the smaller 2" commonly seen in their hundreds for sale.
