Clevosaurus hudsoni bones in Triassic Matrix (The Gloucester lizard) is an extinct genus of sphenodontian from the Triassic and the Jurassic periods. Clevosaurus was like the modern Tuatara in almost every way; They are different in only some features of the teeth and skull layout. They also differ in size. Clevosaurus possibly ate plants as well as insects. This fact is known from their teeth. Clevosaurus is popular in cave systems in Great Britain. These caves also trapped Clevosaurus relatives and early mammals as well as dinosaurs. Fossils below are composed of fine micro bones and crinoid ossicles in a Triassic matrix from Cromhall, Gloucestershire, UK. I have also seen this creature named as Glevosaurus as well on some sites. These are rare and I have only been able to obtain a small old collection of these here.
